The Figure Skating Club of Charleston skates at the Carolina Ice Palace in North Charleston, SC. We host the Charleston Open/Basic Skills Competition on May 11th.

2013 USFS S.T.A.R.S. on April 19th
The 2013 S.T.A.R.S. program will be coming to the Carolina Ice Palace on Friday, April 19th. By participating in S.T.A.R.S., you will gain helpful information to take your on-ice performance to an even higher level in 2014.
S.T.A.R.S. (Standardized Testing of Athleticism to Recognize Skaters) is a fun, one day off-ice testing event designed to provide skaters and coaches with specific information about the athletic abilities specifically related to the skaters’ on-ice skills. The purpose of S.T.A.R.S. is to help you train your athleticism ahead of your skills curve and also to help your body be as injury resistant as possible. More information about S.T.A.R.S., including a complete list of participating cities can be found at www.starscombine.org.

USFS Program Components Camp in Charleston, SC
April 19-21, 2013
This is a national training camp open to athletes who competed at the most recent regional (singles) or sectional (pairs and ice dancing) championships.
This year's event will take place on Friday, April 19, through Sunday, April 21, 2013 in Charleston, S.C. It will feature on-ice and off-ice classes designed to help competitive skaters improve their program components mark.
The focus of the camp is on developing skills in a relaxed setting to help competitive skaters improve their scores in the five program components areas:
